Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation Support
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients.
- Assist chefs in basic cooking tasks such as portioning, garnishing, and plating.
- Prepare simple dishes under supervision.
- Ensure ingredients are properly stored and labeled.
Cleaning & Hygiene
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas.
- Dispose of waste properly and follow recycling procedures.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Operational Assistance
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Assist in receiving and organizing deliveries.
- Report any equipment issues or shortages to the supervisor.
- Support kitchen staff during busy service hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
