📌 Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, heavy vehicles, and construction equipment.
Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
Overhaul and replace defective parts such as fuel systems, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulics.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines during all repair activities.
Maintain accurate service records, spare parts inventory, and maintenance logs.
Collaborate with supervisors and operators to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
Perform emergency breakdown repairs on-site when required.
🎓 Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Technology (or equivalent).
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic in construction or contracting companies.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
Willingness to work in challenging site conditions and flexible schedules.
